Anorexia

Anorexia is a very serious condition where people lose large amounts of weight due to excessive dieting. Anorexia is generally developed over time as a way of coping with emotional pain, stress, unhappiness and any other problems a person may have.


Body Image

Yeah the world is very image conscious - and everyone can be quite superficial at times. Women are 'supposed' to be sleek, slender and slim. Men are supposed to be muscular and trim. But.. very few people naturally possess their desired physique.


Breast Self-Examination

Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths for women in Australia. 1 in 11 women are likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 75 years and 9 out of 10 women diagnosed had no family history of breast cancer.


Bulimia

Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder that is characterised by a cycle of binge eating followed by purging behaviour. Some people use binge eating as a way of coping with anger, depression, stress, anxiety, loneliness or general unhappiness.

A condom is a piece of latex or rubber which fits over the penis. It catches semen when a man ejaculates (comes) and prevents the semen entering their partner.


Genital warts

Genital warts are caused by a virus (human papilloma virus). Genital warts are caused by a virus which is passed on from direct skin to skin contact during sexual intercourse with an infected partner.

Everybody gets acne at some point. Some worse than others. It sometimes doesn't look all that good, but it is a part of growing up.
